My Jewish
Music Journey
I was raised at my synagogue, doing homework in the religious school office while my parents attended synagogue board meetings at Beth Tikvah Congregation in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. I had the best attendance of any five-year-old at Shabbat services.
I first started writing Jewish music when I was 12, and I shared it in my summer camp OSRUI's talent show and high holiday services that fall.

Since then, I've continued to write and share my own Jewish music, collaborated and performed with other Jewish artists, and led communities of all ages in song sessions and worship.
These days, I songlead during the week at Central Synagogue and lead services on Saturday mornings for their LCLJ Shabbat Program twice a month. I also lead High Holiday services at Columbia University and tour around the country as a Jewish musician and educator.
